Violet Intrigue (LAVANG 21) -
21 or its commercial name Lavandula angustifolia 'Violet
Intrigue' is a very striking ornamental lavender growing anywhere
from 50-70cm depending on how one prunes it.
Flower stems are held upright, almost vertical, creating a vase-like
impression and are topped with spikes of bright violet flowers.
When in flower, this plant cannot be missed. Once started, flowering
will continue through to the first frosts.
Suitable as a cut fresh or dried flower, ornamental or hedging
plant, 'Violet Intrigue' is sure to impress. Planted en masse or
down a driveway, 'Violet Intrigue' makes both a bold and welcoming
statement. A sweet fragrance has led to investigation into its essential
oil potential and initial testing is most promising at this experimental

A cute, little bush with upright stems bearing bright violet
flower spikes and a very perky attitude. It makes a great potted
plant or ornamental and is wonderful as a low growing hedge or en
masse at the front of the border.
